Paul and its attorney, Mr. Lillehaug, responded that he wanted Justice to intervene and settle the false-claims cases (that could cost the city millions of dollars) to get them offthe city's docket.
Judges want these cases off their docket as quickly as possible, and when arguments erupted among the lawyers over the settlement, he slapped a gag order on bankruptcy attorney Charles Juntikka prohibiting him from voicing his concerns to former clients.
